The fight over what to name a park next to the to-be-built Veterans Tribute Trail in Eau Claire isn’t over.
The city’s Waterways and Parks Commission last night punted on the issue. The folks behind the two million-dollar trail want to name the small park Veterans Tribute Park. But some neighbors, particularly people who use the community garden in the park, don’t want to change the name. The commission is asking Eau Claire’s city council to make the decision.
