Two people are in custody after over six-thousand dollars worth of parts were stolen from an Eau Claire car dealership.
A criminal complaint claims police were called to Chilson Motors because a car had been stripped of parts back in February. Police recently arrested Ryan Peterson after a collision center contracted to fix the car said Peterson also contacted them. Peterson claimed he offered Adam Gifford one-thousand dollars to find the parts to a car he’d salvaged from a Minnesota dealership.
Peterson claims he didn’t know Gifford stole the parts. They’re both charged in the case.
