The City of Eau Claire is continuing negotiations on the Cannery District.
Reports say the Eau Claire Redevelopment Authority recently approved a 60-day extension for the negotiations and the Cannery Trails Residence is finishing a purchase agreement and redevelopment plan to rezone the area behind a gas station on West Madison Street. The RDA is finalizing other plans including the purchase of buildings on Oxford Avenue.
