WI BUDGET BOOST

Wisconsin Republicans don’t want to spend any of the new money that the state could see for the next state budget.

The Legislative Fiscal Bureau yesterday said Wisconsin will see a one-time bump of about 750 million-dollars over the next three years.  Governor Evers says he wants to spend that money to pay down some debt and grow a couple of state programs.  Republicans want to put the money away for a rainy day fund, or use the cash to lower taxes.
