An Eau Claire man will go to prison after being convicted of hurting a woman and leading police on a high-speed chase.
Reports say Girard Jones was found guilty of second-degree reckless endangering safety and violating a foreign protection order on Wednesday. Jones was accused of dropping off a beaten woman at an Eau Claire hospital then running from police when they questioned him. He’s facing up to ten years in prison and will be sentenced on May 28th.
