Prosecutors in Chippewa County say a man charged with murder is once again fit enough to face the charges.
Preston Kraft has been at a state mental institution since a judge found him unfit for trial last year. Yesterday, prosecutors said Kraft is now well enough to go to trial. He’s charged in Chippewa County with shooting at Robert Petit last April. Kraft is charged in Rusk County for allegedly killing Petit last May.
