A main road in La Crosse is closed due to a propane tank leak.
The city says a gas odor was noticed near 28th and Mesa Grand Place yesterday afternoon and emergency crews found that two tanks below the street were leaking. The intersection was closed off around 1:00 for work on the tank. The work could take a couple days.
