A Rice Lake man is going to prison after being convicted of beating a woman.
Jason Rush was sentenced yesterday to five years in prison followed by six years of supervised release. Rush’s victim claimed Rush was on his way to get treatment for a meth addiction when he got mad, punched her, and hit her with an aluminum pipe. Rush pleaded guilty to aggravated battery and false imprisonment as part of a plea deal.
