EVERS TAPS INTO PUBLIC HEALTH ON WORLD WATER DAY

Governor Tony Evers is wishing Wisconsinites a Happy World Water Day and says he’s committed to making public health investments a priority. 

The governor said today safe, healthy drinking water is a basic human right and his administration is going to make sure Wisconsin residents have quality water.  The governor says the state is investing 70-million-dollars to combat water pollution and replace lead pipes.  He’s also setting aside funding for a groundwater and geology study in Southwest Wisconsin.
