Christmas Mountain in the Wisconsin Dells is fighting the Legionnaires’ bacteria in some areas of its facility.
Health officials said yesterday that the bacteria was found in parts of the water system at the popular resort. A spokesperson for the owner of the resort says staff members are working closely with health officials to reduce risks and to fix the issues with the water. The spokesperson also said all accommodations at the resort now have “point of use” filters which eliminate 99 percent of bacteria exposure.
