Madison-area students are making their stance on climate change known. On Friday, hundreds of students gathered at the State Capitol for a climate strike.
About one-thousand students walked out of class Friday to partake in the Youth Climate Strike. They started their march at East High School and walked all the way to the state Capitol, where they held a rally. The students are calling on folks to support the Green New Deal and are also calling on local school systems to use 100-percent renewable energy and composting methods.
