MKE BUCKS OWNER TO PAY BIG BUCKS IN FINE

A primary owner of the Milwaukee Bucks is being fined 25-thousand dollars for tampering.

The fine stems from Marc Lasry’s comments to The Sporting News after the Bucks’ February 4th victory.  Lasry said he’d seen reports that New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis would sign an extension with the Buck if he were traded there and that it was “a little bit of what we want.”  The open recruitment of other teams’ players is against league policy.
