Eau Claire currently has the fourth-lowest unemployment rate in the state. Out of Wisconsin’s 32 largest cities, Eau Claire was beat out by only Madison, Fitchburg, and Sun Prairie in December unemployment.
Those three cities had an unemployment rate of one-point-nine percent while Eau Claire was at two-point-two percent.
