- A federal judge says early voting limits approved during a lame-duck session are invalid. The judge struck down the limits yesterday, saying in a five page ruling that they too closely resemble one he struck down as unconstitutional in 2016. The decision also eliminated parts of the lame-duck laws affecting IDs and other credentials that can be used for voting.
- Governor Evers is opposing a plan proposed by Republicans to cut taxes for the middle class. Evers’ spokeswoman says the governor is more in favor of creating a “fairer” tax code that includes capping tax breaks under a manufacturing and agriculture credit program. Republicans are against scaling back the corporate tax credits.
