The Eau Claire deputy city attorney is being honored for his work on lowering OWI cases in the state.
You may have seen WEAU report on Douglas Hoffer. He recently won two state Supreme Court cases and he’s being honored by the Department of Justice for closing two significant loopholes in Wisconsin OWI laws. Hoffer says his main goal is to reduce the amount of drunk driving in the state.
