COMPETENCY QUESTIONED IN MENOMONIE MURDER CASE

A Menomonie man accused of killing his roommate is having his competency questioned.

Richard Seehaver’s attorney addressed his mental state in Dunn County court yesterday and a judged ordered a psychiatrist or psychologist to have him evaluated.  Seehaver is accused of shooting 54-year-old John Likeness with a crossbow and slitting his throat last month.  His preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 28th.
