LAST MINUTE DEAL TO KEEP BUSINESS IN WI

Kimberly Clark is getting at least 25-million-dollars in tax breaks over the next five years.  The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports the last minute deal comes after Republican leaders couldn’t find enough votes to pass a larger package to keep the company in the Fox Valley.  The governor was able to strike the deal with Kimberly-Clark without seeking approval from the legislature because it was smaller than the last proposal.
