Incoming Governor Tony Evers says he’s not encouraged by the talk he had with Scott Walker regarding the lame-duck bill that was passed last week. The bill would give more power to legislature and less to the incoming governor and attorney general and shorten early voting.
Evers told NBC’s Meet the Press that he spoke with Walker on the phone over the weekend and that he was noncommittal to vetoing the bill. He claims passing the bill would be rejecting the will of the voters.
