A 13-year-old girl is safe after a crime spree in Outagamie County that included her kidnapping and multiple car thefts. The sheriff’s office says a suspect is in custody after crashing into the back of a public safety truck at Appleton Airport late last night and then stealing a pickup truck from someone who stopped to help.
The pickup had a thirteen-year-old inside who was eventually dropped off at a gas station in Grand Chute. The girl helped police find the truck because she activated an app to locate her phone, which was in the pickup.
