The third graders at Roosevelt Elementary in EauClaire are hoping to bring joy to local cancer patients.
The students are making gratitude journals, and the project focuses on teaching the kids about thankfulness and empathy. Their teacher Jeannie Miller says she was introduced to gratitude journals by a college friend and that the project has had a positive impact on the students.
