TURKEY DINNER COSTS LESS BREAD THIS YEAR

The average cost of Thanksgiving Day dinner for ten people continues a downward trend.  The American Farm Bureau Federation released its 33rd annual survey of the price of classic items to be found on the dinner table next Thursday.

The meal will cost a little under five-dollars-per-person at about 48-dollars-and-90-cents, 22-cents lower than last year.  The average meal in Wisconsin could be a few cents more or less depending on brand of items selected, but the Farm Bureau says turkeys are averaging 21-dollars-and-71-cents for a 16-pound bird.
