EVERS TALKS WAGE HIKES, WALKER MARCHES TO EC. WI WEEKEND POLITICAL RECAP

 Republican Governor Scott Walker and Democrat Tony Evers met for their second and final debate.  The one-hour debate took place at the University of Wisconsin Friday night.  The candidates battled over University of Wisconsin tuition, health care, and climate change.  Evers attended a rally with former President Obama hours before the debate, and Walker was two days out from a rally with President Trump. 

Democratic candidate for Governor Tony Evers says we could see a 15-dollar minimum wage during his first term.  Evers made the comment in a Friday night debate with his Republican opponent Governor Scott Walker- Meanwhile in the debate, Walker defended his three-billion dollar subsidy package to lure electronic company Foxconn to come here to our state.

Walker made stops near us as he was at the Republican office in Eau Claire yesterday to meet with supporters.  He spoke to the crowd about his plans for job creation in the state and for health care.
