COMPETENCY HEARING ORDERED IN HOMICIDE CASE

A man charged with first-degree intentional homicide is going to have a competency hearing. 

Thirty-one-year-old Preston Kraft is accused of firing a gun towards Robert Petit in Rusk County back in April, killing him.  A judge in Chippewa County announced yesterday that he’s raising competency in Kraft’s case.  The hearing will be held on November 12th and Kraft will return to court on January 8th.
