WI WEATHER CLEANUP CONTINUES

The National Weather Service is confirming that 16 tornadoes touched down in our state during the latest round of storms.  The NWS said yesterday that the tornadoes had appeared in the state after a severe line of thunderstorms went through Tuesday afternoon. Clean up continues…Volunteers are helping those impacted by flooding in Vernon County.  The American Red Cross shelter volunteers are providing beds, blankets, and a place to clean up.  They are getting help from as far away as Osseo and Galesville.  

And as cleanup continues, flooding remains a huge problem in many areas of the state. Evacuations have been completed in Rock Springs and Vernon County.  Governor Scott Walker declared a statewide state of emergency Wedensday.  People are urged to check road conditions before venturing out.
