Chase Leads to Arrest of Shell Lake Man

On Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, the Barron County Sheriff’s Department attempted to stop a vehicle  on County Road M near US Hwy 8 for traffic and registration infractions. The vehicle then  proceeded to continue northbound on County Road M in Barron County reaching speeds of  approximately 70 MPH. The suspect vehicle continued through Barron County and pulled into  an address in Rusk County.
