The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says Moody killed 18-year-old Masen Powell from Spring Valley when he crossed the centerline on Highway 65 near Alden. Investigators say Moody told them he smoked pot the day of the crash. Deputies say he was going about 115 miles-per-hour just before the crash.
