There’s now a beer in honor of UW-La Crosse’s former porn star chancellor. La Crosse’s 608 Brewing Company this week announced its ‘Hot For Chancellor’ beer. The can features a cartoon drawing of now-former UW-La Crosse Chancellor Joe Gow running, with his graduation robe falling-off, while carrying a basket of fruit. Suspect Arrested in Connection to Elk Mound Burglary

A suspect has been arrested for an Elk Mound burglary. The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office says deputies for a 9-1-1 call just before ten A-M on Friday reporting the suspect. Deputies say a man removed a camera doorbell before walking to the side of the house, opening a sliding door, and entering. New technology coming out of the Universities of Wisconsin could help doctors detect developmental disorders before a baby is born. Biomedical Engineering Professor Dr. Randolph Ashton says the tool, RosetteArrays, may allow scientists to see beginning stages of development by monitoring stem cells in early pregnancy. Map Leads to WI Transportation Projects

A new interactive map shows where funds are being distributed in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says 888-million federal dollars has gone toward state transportation infrastructure projects. They have developed a map and dashboard that will break down the cities, communities, and Tribes getting that funding since 2009.
