The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is urging hunters to keep safety in mind ahead of the state’s gun deer season. The nine-day hunting period begins this Saturday and runs through December 1st. DNR is reminding hunters to follow the four “TAB-K” gun safety rules: Treat every firearm as if it is loaded, Always point the muzzle in a safe direction, Be certain of your target, and Keep your finger outside the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot.
