On Friday 05/17/2024 at approximately 6:36 P.M. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on STH 29 near CTH J. While investigating the crash at approximately 7:00 P.M a Deputy and Patrol Sergeant were nearly struck by a vehicle that was unrelated to the crash. Milwaukee Police say the only arrest that was made came from the deadly shooting. That shooting happened just before 8:30 last night along Humboldt.
