Milwaukee’s hotels are, unsurprisingly, full for the third week of July. Most Milwaukee-area hotels have been booked for this year’s Republican National Convention. A quick look online shows there are a few rooms available, but those are all away from the convention, and are either expensive or at lesser known hotels. No contest means he acknowledges that the prosecution has enough evidence to convict him. Investigators say Brooks tried to intimidate the ex-girlfriend who he beat and ran-over about two weeks before he sped through the Waukesha Christmas Parade back in 2021. Brooks will be sentenced in the intimidation case in August, but it won’t matter.
