The City of Eau Claire’s new downtown bus transfer center is now open. The center at Main Street and South Farwell was approved years ago though work was delayed by the pandemic. Major donations came from John and Tashia Morgridge, including a 140-million-dollar gift along with a 50-million-dollar challenge grant. Ridglan Farms had been facing criticism from lawmakers and animal welfare groups after inspection records were released.
