The Pride Flag will fly above the Wisconsin Capitol once again, starting tomorrow. Governor Evers will be on hand for what has become a yearly tradition to raise the Pride Flag to kick-off Pride Month. The governor has flown the flag each year that he’s been governor. Not all agree with the choice, some Republicans and conservatives in the state say only the American flag, the state flag, and the POW/MIA flag should fly about Wisconsin’s statehouse.

Read MoreIt’s been two years since a sexual assault kit tracking system was introduced in Wisconsin — and nearly three and a half thousand have been turned in. The Wisconsin Department of Justice says the system gives victims more detailed information about the status and location of their kits. The state DOJ says the number of sexual assaults is likely higher, since not every victim gets tested. Test results do not guarantee the outcome of investigations or prosecution.
