Authorities in Wood County are blaming domestic violence for a woman’s death over the weekend. The Wood County Sheriff’s Office says deputies found a woman dead in the street in the small community of Auburndale. No one is offering any real details in the case, including how the woman died. The sheriff’s office says a 22-year-old man is in custody in the case. There could be more answers later today.
