All of the kids are ok after a school bus crash in Menomonie. A Chevrolet pickup and a Ford Excursion, traveling north bound, were stopped on County B at the interchange of I-94 at the stop lights for road construction. No Jail Time in Animal Cruelty Case

A western Wisconsin man will not go to jail for lighting a raccoon on fire.  A judge in Clark County yesterday sentenced Hayden Weiler from Owen to probation and community service. The DNR arrested Weiler after a video made the rounds on social media that showed Weiler pour gas on a raccoon, then set it on fire. Attorney’s Say Mother Reacts to News of Death

  Elijah Vue’s mother is reportedly devastated over the news that her son is dead. Katrina Bauer’s lawyers yesterday said she has learned that her son’s remains were found, and she is heartbroken. Her attorney says Bauer held out hope that her three-year-old son would be found alive. Bauer and her boyfriend remain in jail in Manitowoc County in connection to Elijah’s disappearance. Robert F. Kennedy Jr, is not giving-up in his bid to get off the Wisconsin ballot. Kennedy yesterday appealed a Dane County judge’s decision that keeps him on the November ballot. Kennedy is trying to make the case that Wisconsin’s ballot access law treats Republicans and Democrats differently than independent candidates. Deadly Monroe Co. Crash Under Investigation

A deadly crash is under investigation in Monroe County near Tomah. On Monday, September 16, 2024 at approximately 10:10 pm, a crash involving a GMC Savanna Van and a Chevrolet Silverado was reported on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 37. Wisconsin State Patrol units first on scene advised both drivers were trapped in their vehicles with significant injuries. Report Ranks Diversity Across the Union

A new report reveals the most and least-diverse states in the nation.
