Eleven Blugold undergraduate researchers and their faculty mentors will share their research and creative projects ranging from ageism in healthcare to workforce retention at the annual Research in the Rotunda event April 2 in Madison. The 21st annual event highlighting important research by Universities of Wisconsin campuses will be in the state Capitol rotunda and viewed by state legislators, state leaders, UW alumni and other supporters. The transit portion of the center is nearly 100-percent complete, while the private residential housing portion of the project is under active construction. Design and build out of the two ground-level spaces will take place this next fall. A bipartisan bill that has been introduced in Madison would require the structures to undergo inspections every five years. The A-G had joined 30 other state generals in a lawsuit over the chain’s alleged role in the opioid crisis.
