A 71 year old man, formerly from Winter, was charged in Sawyer County for 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a child, 2nd Degree Sexual Assault against a Child and 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of an Unconscious Victim. Warrants were issued for his arrest and along with efforts by the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office and the Minneapolis Police Department, Thomas E. Erickson was found at his home in Minneapolis and taken into custody. He is currently awaiting extradition proceedings to be transported
