Read MoreAn Eau Claire woman charged in a deadly Chippewa County crash is pleading not guilty in court. Cara Stevens appeared in court yesterday after being charged in August. Stevens is charged with four counts of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, and four counts of reckless driving-causing great bodily harm. The crash happened in Cornell in May 2017, when Steven says she didn’t see stop signs before colliding with a truck.

Officials say the district learned of the threats that included images of weapons early yesterday morning. District schools were put in a 90-minute classroom hold while authorities found and apprehended the student in question. No one was injured.

Wessel was wearing a brown Carhartt jacket, sweatpants and gray Nike shoes with an orange stripe when he left his home.
