Two winning Mega Millions tickets worth thirty-thousand dollars each come from the same Kwik Trip location in Lake Geneva. Both of the tickets sold at the gas station on South Wells Street match four of the five winning numbers and the Mega Ball number. A Trail of Tricks & Treats

The community is invited to A Trail of Tricks & Treats at Dove Healthcare – Rutledge Home, 300 Bridgewater Ave, on Saturday, October 26 from 4-8PM. The third floor will be transformed into a trail of tricks and treats, where kids and parents/guardians can play games, make concoctions, and gather treats. Charges Against School Bus Driver Dropped

The Eau Claire school bus driver who crashed on the way to a field trip in the Twin Cities is no longer facing charges. Prosecutors in St, Croix County dismissed the misdemeanor charges in the case. The D.A. originally charged the bus driver after he drove into the back of a tanker truck on I-91 back in April. Eight people, including six students, were hurt in the wreck. Winging It? Local Farmers Seek Solutions for Displaced Chickens

Thousands of chickens in western Wisconsin need new homes. Volunteers are trying to give away about 30-thousand chickens that used to be a part of Pure Prairie Poultry’s flocks. The company disbanded recently, and that left farmers with thousands of chickens they were no longer going to be paid for. Wisconsin’s attorney general is reminding people that it is a crime to threaten poll workers. A-G Josh Kaul yesterday made an announcement about election security ahead of next month’s election. ECCHA Welcomes More Hurricane Zone Animals

There are more pets from the hurricane zone that need homes in the Chippewa Valley. The Eau Claire Community Humane Association yesterday said it received more animals from areas hit by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton over.
