An Elk Mound man is being charged with multiple counts of child sexual assault. A criminal complaint states 21-year-old Dylan Reidel is accused of consensually and nonconsensually sexually assaulting a 15-year-old a little over a year ago. He is also accused of having sex with a 14-year-old near Colfax but says he ended their relationship when he found out her age. Reidel is due for a preliminary hearing on October 30th.

Ngia Vang is being held on 100-thousand-dollars cash bond in the Marathon County Jail. Officers discovered drugs in the walls of the home and money in a backpack and elsewhere in the house.

The plans include adding apartments, restaurants, and commercial space near the Block Seven parking lot and east of the North Bristow Parking Ramp. The city development director says he’s happy that there’s so much interest in downtown Eau Claire. The RDA is continuing to discuss the proposals and if they choose one it will need to be approved by the city council.
