A local school will shine on the national level! Fifty-six schools across the country are creating one-of-a-kind ornaments for the 2018 National Christmas Tree experience in our nations capital and representing Wisconsin will be ornaments created by students from Delong Middle School! These handcrafted ornaments will adorn 56 smaller trees that surround the National Christmas Tree. The 56trees represent each U.S. state, territory and the District of Columbia as part of the America Celebratesdisplay.

Twenty-five-year-old Litamarie Twobears pleaded guilty to a felony count of aggravated battery plus two misdemeanor counts. Twobears got probation for the misdemeanors and a five-month jail sentence will be waived if she pays a 324-dollar restitution within the next two months. She will also have her felony charge dropped if she complies with all the terms of her probation.
