Police say they chased the car driven by Corey Gilbert into Seymour early Monday morning before it stopped in the 77-hundred block of Burnell Drive. A criminal complain says 42-year-old Kayle Fleischauer’s son Chase was found unresponsive on the floor of his home last April. Police say Fleischauer was acting strange when they got there and smelled of intoxicants and charged an officer at one point. An autopsy determined Chase was shot in the head and Fleischauer was charged with the murder. He’ll stand trial in June.
