Read MoreA 12-year-old boy is dead after drowning in a retention pond in northeast Wisconsin. Family members identified the boy as Dylan Tapio. Reports say Tapio drowned while he and his brothers were releasing a turtle in Kaukauna Tuesday night. Police believe he was in the water for up to two hours before he was rescued.
Read MoreThe victims of a rollover crash in Black River Falls have been identified. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Dylan Waube was speeding and driving drunk when he went off the road, went airborne, and crashed in a wooded area late Monday night. James Mann, Miguel Custodio, Anthony Walker, and Harold Hill Junior were also in the car and were taken to the hospital with injuries. Waube is facing multiple charges in connection with the crash.

Molde was found guilty in March and sentenced Tuesday to 25-years in prison followed by seven-and-a-half years of supervised release.

The folks behind the two million-dollar trail want to name the small park Veterans Tribute Park. But some neighbors, particularly people who use the community garden in the park, don’t want to change the name. The commission is asking Eau Claire’s city council to make the decision.
Read MoreA Chippewa County man is heading to prison for more than a decade for abusing a 10-year-old boy in an Eau Claire bathroom last year. A judge yesterday sentenced Derrik Sheffield to 12-years in prison. The judge also ordered Sheffield to register as a sex offender for life, and to never have contact with anyone under 18 unless the court says its okay first.
