Communities across Wisconsin will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment as National Women’s History Month gets underway. Sunday marks the beginning of events in the state. Milwaukee will host the Lunafest 2020 Women’s Film Festival at the Weasler Auditorium in late March. On March 11th Waukesha County Technical College is hosting entrepreneur designer and DIY carpenter Carmen De La Paz as a guest speaker.

Last year, the state made available more than one-million dollars for local clerks to update their computers but not everyone took advantage of the funding. Concerned that the outdated systems will leave election systems in six communities vulnerable to cyberattacks, state elections officials have voted to publicly call out those cities if they don’t quickly update their systems.

Surveillance cameras have caught the suspects in every other case and all of them are juveniles. Police say the most recent vandals did two-thousand dollars in damage.
