The National Conference of State Legislators is wrapping up its annual meeting with it’s new president from Wisconsin. State Assembly Speaker Robin Vos assumed the reins of the organization at the conference in Nashville Thursday. The group alternates its leadership between Republicans and Democrats each year and Vos is the first Wisconsinite to hold the position. The bipartisan organization is a resource for all state lawmakers.
Read MoreThe National Weather Service is confirming the first tornado in Green Bay in 15 years. The twister raced through Green Bay and then into Bellevue shortly before 6:00 Wednesday night. Winds peaked at around 85 miles an hour and the tornado’s path was more than six miles long and nearly a football field wide.
