Plea deals have been reached in a sexual assault case in Eau Claire.  The assaults happened in the early two-thousands. Christopher and Daniel Rodriguez assaulted the victim when he was eight years old and continued until he was a teenager. Yesterday, plea deals were made and if they follow their guidelines, both men can have their charges amended after three years.

Joann Fabrics will close all 24 of its Wisconsin locations by the end of May, following its second bankruptcy filing in eleven months.  Liquidation sales are already underway affecting stores in Madison, Brookfield, Racine, and Sheboygan Falls.  The closures are part of a national shutdown involving more than 800 stores. Tomah Health Community Center made a 25-hundred-dollar donation to the Family Promise homeless shelter. Officials with the shelter have said there is a bigger demand for the shelter due to the downward slide of the economy. Family Promise provides a space for families with children under the age of 18. Wisconsin is joining a multi-state lawsuit against the Trump Administration over recent cuts to the AmeriCorps program.  Governor Evers and Attorney General Kaul say these actions will lead to major impacts on education, public safety, and overall community needs.  They say the cuts will also lead to 430 job losses in the state across 25 AmeriCorps programs.

Six men are under arrest in connection to a human-trafficking bust in Whitewater.  They range in age from 25-to-57, and their charges include drug crimes and prostitution.  Police say the operation was their latest effort to combat human-trafficking in the area, which has seen a recent spike.
