Protesters in Madison are making their priorities clear to Wisconsin lawmakers. Protesters last night painted ‘Defund the Police’ in huge yellow letters on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. That’s the street that leads directly to the State Capitol. Protesters were out in the streets of Madison for the tenth straight night last night. They did not have permission to paint in the street.

Derek Chauvin had a short court hearing this morning where a judge said he can’t contact Floyd’s family, have a gun or work in law enforcement. It was on June 7th that the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home in Sheldon after family visited the home and discovered the two residents deceased.
