Micon Cinema is reopening in downtown Eau Claire this weekend. In a social media post yesterday, the theater group announced they will reopen with three-dollar tickets, social distancing and other safety measures in place. The theater will show Forrest Gump, the 1978 Superman movie, Midway, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. You are encouraged to purchase tickets online.

Officers found dozens of different ID cards, dozens of debit or credit cards, another 65 personal checks, as well as ten payroll checks in his car. The checks and cards all had different names. A petition is making the rounds that urges the city to get officers the cameras as soon as possible. Eau Claire is planning to equip officers with body cams in either 2022 or 2023. The petition wants that moved-up to no later than 2021. Eau Claire is looking to spend 800 thousand-dollars on police body cameras.
