A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a deer near Sheldon. The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office said the driver was heading north on Rangeline Road when the bike hit the deer. The biker was thrown from the bike. The driver died on the scene.

She went missing on Saturday. Deputies say Abby walked out of the woods near Winter with her dog last night. The state’s Department of Health Services’ latest report shows an uptick in the number of people hospitalized because of the virus. DHS yesterday said 414 people are in the hospital, and 119 of them are in the ICU. On Sunday, DHS said about 350 people were hospitalized. The state’s other coronavirus numbers are relatively steady. DHS said there were 507 positive tests yesterday, and over seven thousand negative tests.
