In a separate incident, about 12:15 am on Monday, a Barron County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on Hwy 8 west of Barron. The vehicle failed to stop for the officer and crashed into a snowbank on Euclid Ave. Deputies along with the Barron Police Department took two 14yr old males into custody. Barron County Human Services was contacted and both subjects were released to their parents and the case will be referred to Barron County

Read MoreThe search for a missing Barron County man has come to a happy ending. The Minnesota State Patrol last night said that Ronald Kuruz was found safe on I-35. He’d been missing since about 9:30 yesterday morning. The sheriff in Barron County said Kuruz got into his truck and was thought to be headed to Barron. His neighbor was worried because Kuruz had fallen twice before getting into his truck.
