Coronavirus Cases Trend Younger, Hospitalizations Older

 The graph that tracks the coronavirus in Wisconsin shows two differences between older and younger people. The state’s Department of Health Services says a lot more young people are testing positive for the virus. Ballot Questions Remain in WI

Ballots are supposed to be in the mail as of Thursday, but Wisconsin’s clerks don’t know what the final ballot will look like. Deputy Eau Claire attorney Douglas Hoffer says it’s going to be difficult to get new ballots printed and mailed by Thursday if the Wisconsin Supreme Court decides the Green Party should be on the ballot. ECPD Updates Policies, Aims For Community Connection

Police in Eau Claire say they’ve changed or updated 20 policies since George Floyd’s death at the end of May. Commanders issued a memo on Friday that details all of the changes that the department has undergone. UW Campuses Redirect Amid Coronavirus

Less than a month after moving-in, some UW-Madison students are heading back home. The university on Friday said some students are leaving ahead of a two-week shift to online classes. Western Wildfires Affect Western WI Skies

The fires in California, Oregon, Colorado and other western states are coloring the sky in western Wisconsin. Forecasters say smoke from the fires will give the skies a milky quality over the next couple of days. Plumes of smoke can be seen in central Minnesota, and could make their way into Wisconsin later this week.

Marshfield Chase Exceeds 100mph

A chase leads to the arrest in Marshfield. It was just before 10:45 on Sunday morning when a Marshfield Police Officer located a vehicle involved in a recent vehicle pursuit with the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department.   The vehicle was located near E Veterans Pkwy and Heritage Dr.  A Marshfield Police Officer attempted a traffic stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued. WI Sees DC Visits

President Trump and Vice President Pence plan on making separate visits to Wisconsin this coming week.  Yesterday, we got word that President will be in Mosinee Friday, September 18 for a rally and speaking engagements.  His re-election campaign says the Mosinee evening stopover is open to the public at Central Wisconsin Aviation.  Mike Pence will speak in Janesville this Monday although the full details are pending.
